Ma Maison Y&R is a rapidly developing vacation rental company which emphasizes in providing unique luxury properties in Athens for short term purposes. We currently own eight villas, designer lofts and luxury apartments which can cover every desire. Furthermore, we provide extra services that can cover every aspect of your stay in order to make it unforgettable. We can cover your transportations from/to the airport or the port and selected tours with our VIP shuttle. We can also arrange extra cleaning services upon request.

The owners of the company are Yannis and Rena, “fellow travelers” for the last twenty five years. Six years ago, Yannis and Rena decided to do something that love very much and entered the world of hospitality. The Greek word “ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑ=hospitality” is of a particular importance in the Greek culture. It’s a compound word from “ΦΙΛΩ=LOVE” and “ΞΕΝΟΣ=GUEST ” and refers to the act of nestling and caring of a guest by the host. It was an institution for the ancient Greeks to welcome and take care of the guests at their home. They believed particularly in the idea of hospitality and regarded it as a moral duty and a sacred rule of the gods. (Xenios Zeus was the protector of the guests). They offered them bath and sleep and they greeted them with gifts. The host and the guest were linked with friendly ties, which where inherited to their descendants.
